MEET OUR TEAM
Dr Arjun Kalyanpur, founder and Chief Pusher of Teleradiology Solutions was voted Frost and Sullivans Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 and was responsible for TRS becoming VCCircle’s “Best Healthcare Service Delivery Provider of the Year 2015”.
He was trained at AIIMS, New Delhi, Cornell University Medical Center and Yale University in the US. He is an active contributor to the scientific literature, has edited a radiology textbook, serves as a reviewer for several radiology journals and is on the editorial board of the Indian Journal of Radiology. He was awarded Modern Medicare’s Entrepreneur of the year award in 2007, was named one of the 50 pathfinders in Healthcare in India in 2009 by Express Healthcare magazine and one of 25 healthcare influencers by Healthcare Executive in 2015.
He has been featured in Who’s Who in the World and in Medicine. He has also been covered extensively in the media, namely ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times and the New England Journal of Medicine as the path-breaking pioneer of tele-radiology services in Asia.
Recently his path breaking online web portal-Radguru- for equipping and training radiologists has been accredited by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi India for all its 800 post graduate radiology students. He also setup the Telrad foundation that takes high quality diagnostic reports to poor patients in charitable hospitals.
Dr Sunita Maheshwari, awarded 2014’s ‘Amazing Indian’ by Times Now, is a US Board certified Pediatric Cardiologist who did her training at Yale University in the US. She was the winner of the ‘Young Clinician Award’ from the American Heart Association and the ‘Best Teacher Award’ at Yale University. She was nominated one of the Top 20 women achievers in medicine in India in 2009.
She is passionate about telemedicine and cofounded and is the Chief Dreamer at Teleradiology Solutions and RXDX multi speciality acute care clinics in Bangalore, apart from incubating other start ups in the telehealth space such as Healtheminds-a telecounselling initiative and a trust fund People4people that has put up over 200 playgrounds for children in government schools in India.
Her other interests include teaching and spreading the word about children with heart disease and what can be done for them. She currently runs the first of its kind innovative e-teaching program, accredited by the National Board in Delhi, for postgraduates in Pediatric Cardiology all across India. Additionally she has written ‘a chota book of parenting’ for Indian parents.
Her efforts over the past decade to use technology to successfully educate doctors and to help patients in remote areas of India and other parts of the world was recognised when she was chosen as one of the few innovative entrepreneurs invited to meet President Obama on his trip to India.
Ricky Bedi is the Chief Executive Officer of Telerad Tech – Responsible for the company’s vision, strategy, and leadership. He has been instrumental in developing the next generation workflow system to improve the productivity of Radiologists. Company’s focus is to develop products and solutions for Healthcare IT in general and Teleradiology workflow in particular. The Company offerings will cater to radiologists, healthcare providers, physicians, patients & other stakeholders across installations globally.
Ricky Bedi is also the Director of EVA (Escape Velocity Accelerator) which thrives on the passion and drive to spur innovation by hand-holding young and ambitious companies that cater to the broad area of Health-Care and Life Sciences. With emphasis on deep collaboration and synergistic relationships, we help fundable startups to come into their own.
Prior to the health industry, he spent 18 years in the Semiconductor/EDA Space.
- Architect of the first centralized library for EDA tools, and published a paper on the above concept.
- Key contributor in establishing chip design methodology at level one (now Intel) for which he also received an outstanding achievement award for his contribution to Design Methodology.
- Was the Vice President of Application Engineering group at Magma Design Automation India Pvt. Ltd. Company was acquired by Synopsys in 2011.
- Director of Get2Chip for the Physical Synthesis group. Working on next generation chip implementation – Company was acquired by Cadence in 2004
Ricky was also Co-founder and Vice-President of Business Development for Vitalect Inc. an e-learning company, a San Jose based company, backed by $3M investment. This was the first company of its kind focusing on automating e-Courses for the Semiconductor/EDA industry.

- Have chaired the Publicity Committee for VLSI.
